Theme Installation

To install this theme you must have a working version of WordPress. Make sure that your installed WordPress version is 5.7 (or higher).

If you need help by installation of WordPress, follow the instructions in WordPress Codex. Also here you can download the latest version of WordPress.

Install Free Version Theme

You can install free version of yuki theme from the WP theme directory.

Active our theme

You will see an opt-in screen after activate the theme. You can choose “Skip” button, but we highly recommend that you choose “Allow & Continue” and create an account to get our security and feature updates notifications.

Install Premium Version Theme

After purchase the premium theme, you can download and install premium theme follow the steps below.

If you want to install the premium version of the child theme, you must complete the steps below first and then follow here to install the premium child theme.

Download Premium Theme

Go and login to our members dashboard.
Download yuki-premium.x.x.x.zip from Downloads page.

‘x.x.x’ is the version number, the version number will change as the theme is updated

Installation

You can install this theme in two different ways:

WordPress Theme Manager (installing from the WordPress Dashboard)
FTP upload

WordPress Theme Manager

Go to Themes Page and click “Add New” button

Upload and install the premium theme ZIP file

If at this step you see some error (for example: The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini), go to “FTP upload” section.

Activate theme

Then you will be asked to enter your License key. You can find your License Key from our members dashboard. Then enter your License Key and click **“Agree & Active License”**, after active your license your can use all pro features.

Installing by FTP

If you have any problems with installing the theme from the WordPress Dashboard (for example, you see this error: “The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini”), then you need to install it via FTP.

To do this, you need to upload non-zipped theme folder called yuki-premium to /wp-content/themes/ folder in your WordPress installation folder on your server.

Next, login to your WordPress admin page and activate the theme (Appearance > Themes).

After the successful activation, enter the license key follow the documentation above.
